Lebanon Photos Uploaded
As I mentioned in my last post about my Israel-Palestine photos, during my Middle East sabbatical, most of my photos were taken for Mennonite Central Committee and Questscope. But I also tried to take a good number for my own use–and as always, wish I had taken more. Here’s a link to my Lebanon photos which I’ve just uploaded to the archive. And here are a few of my favorites:
Damage from Israeli bombs during the 2006 war.
Child victim of cluster bombs with amputated leg.
The Al-Omari Mosque in downtown Beirut.
Lingerie advertisement and female pedestrian on Hamra Street—Beirut’s upscale shopping district.
Police checkpoint, Beirut. “No Photography”? I love a challenge.
